PurpleCraft / faq

Fair questions. Clear answers.

The practical details, including what “build first” means, what it costs to run, and where human judgement belongs.

Getting started

The big picture.

How do your fees and software costs work?

We separate our management fee from your software costs. You own your accounts, you pay the vendors directly at cost, and you pay us to keep the system running flawlessly.

PAID TO PURPLECRAFT

Agency Retainer (Our Fee)

The agreed ongoing work that keeps your system useful.

  • Prompt engineering and refinement
  • Workflow maintenance and troubleshooting
  • API updates and integration upkeep
  • Human-in-the-loop governance and review
PAID DIRECTLY TO VENDORS

Software & API Costs

You own the accounts and pay the providers directly at cost.

  • OpenAI token usage or other model usage
  • Make / n8n plans and execution limits
  • CRM, booking, voice and messaging subscriptions
  • Hosting and other agreed third-party services

Your proposal separates the one-time build fee, any optional retainer, and estimated vendor costs. Included capacity, support hours and response terms are agreed in writing. Vendor usage can vary; limits and alerts are agreed before launch.

What kind of business is this for?

Owner-led businesses and growing teams with a clear customer or operational problem. That includes professional services, local services, consultancies, agencies, and other businesses where better follow-through or less repetitive work would help.

Do I need to know which AI tools to use?

No. Tell us what happens today, where work gets stuck, and what you want to improve. Tool choices come after the job is clear.

Is every service build-first?

No. Your Website Built First and Your Business Autopilot Built First use that model. The other six offers have their own agreed scope and payment terms.

What if I don't like the build-first result?

You can decline it without paying the build fee. You won't receive ownership or continuing use unless separately agreed. PurpleCraft covers the agreed build and testing costs before your decision. Existing business subscriptions continue as normal, with no required incremental charge to review the build.

Can you work with our current tools?

We'll check the actual integration options, access requirements, and limits before agreeing the work. Some connections need a different account tier or a simpler handoff.

Will this guarantee more sales or save a set amount of time?

No. We agree the system's capabilities and check that it works against the scope. Business results also depend on demand, your offer, team adoption, and other factors outside the build.

Scope & control

The working details.

Who owns the tools and accounts?

Your proposal sets out the accounts, access, licenses, ownership, and handover arrangements. Customer-owned materials stay yours. Production use of a build-first result follows the agreed acceptance and payment terms.

Can AI send messages or change records without approval?

Only within the explicitly agreed workflow rules. Customer-facing wording and external actions are approved before launch. Sensitive decisions, uncertain cases, and exceptions are routed to the responsible person.

What support is included?

The written agreement identifies the defect-support window and handover route. Continuous monitoring, new features, content changes, or round-the-clock support should never be assumed.

Does a monthly plan include all eight offers?

No. It buys an agreed amount of delivery capacity for selected priorities, using available skills and a managed backlog. It is not unlimited work or a dedicated full-time team.

Are the demos live business systems?

No. They use fictional information and local interactions to explain the proposed experience. No real customer records, messages, or appointments are created.

Does saving a brief send an email?

On this private review build, it saves your information in a secure, account-scoped database. It does not send an email, book a meeting, or commit you to a project.
